How long does the class run?  

Our classes run similar to a school year with a Broadway Style performance at the end of our season in June.  Classes meet weekly, with the exception of scheduled breaks, holidays, and community events (homecoming parades, pep rally performances. Etc). 


What is the cost of the class?

There is a yearly tuition that is broken down into ten (10) or (12) installments for your convenience.  Your installment plan is based on the membership you choose. Tuition is due on the 1st of the month.


What is due upon signing my child up?

The membership fee. This holds your dancers place in the class selected. 


How long is each class?

Classes can run from 30-90 minutes, depending on the program.  Some classes for our accelerated classes are longer. The younger the dancer the shorter duration for the class. 


What if my child misses a class?  

Students should attend all classes, however, in the event of an absence, please contact the studio if your dancer is ill.   


What should students wear to class?  

PLEASE NOTE: TSHIRTS- are not to be worn as dancewear.

Preschool: Pink leotard and pink tights.

All other classes: Black leotard/dancewear and tan tights.

Acrobatics: Black dancewear or unitard and leggings, dance shorts or black/tan footless tights.

Hip Hop: Black leotard and black dance shorts or black dance pants.



What shoes are needed for each class?

  • Sparkle Preschool: Pink Ballets AND Tan Mary Jane Tap Shoes

  • Sparkle Kinder/1st grade: Tan Jazz Shoes (Slip on) and Tan Mary Jane Tap Shoes

  • Intermediate and Junior Recreation Classes: Tan Jazz Shoes (Slip on), Pink Ballet Shoes, Black JAZZ Tap Shoes. 

  • Accelerated Classes: Tan Jazz Shoes (Slip on), Pink Ballet Shoes, Black JAZZ Tap Shoes. 

  • Company: See Company Contracts

How should my child wear their hair?

Students should wear their hair in a ponytail or bun. 


What investments are involved?

•           Membership:  Choose from basic membership ($55 1st dancer;  $10 for each additional dancer ) or premium “VIP”  membership ($75- no additional fees per dancer).  Must be paid before the student enters class.   

•           Tuition: Tuiton is paid monthly. Tuition ranges from $45-$95 a class based on enrollment. Tuition can be more if your dancer is in more than one class (Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Company)

•           Dancewear: Both Basic and VIP Members - Dancers will need to purchase dancewear for their class and dance shoes. Please see your dancers class for the color of attire and dance shoes needed. 

•           Performance Package:  Basic Cost is $250 and up depending on how many children in your family are dancing and/or how many costumes your dancer will need. Payment is broken up into 5 installments.  Due Oct 15, Nov 15, Feb 15, Mar 15, Apr 15.  VIP: No Cost.  


Do you have a recital?

Our students work hard all year long for a chance to perform in the annual recital!  The recital is typically held June at a local school which is right down the road from our studio.  Prior to the recital, there is a mandatory rehearsal held for all students. Every student must be present at the rehearsal in order to perform in the show. We ask that you do not plan vacations during recital week.


Do I have to purchase tickets to the recital?

Every dancer and or family will get 4-6 tickets. Once all allotted tickets have been claimed, families can purchase additional tickets on a first come, first served basis.   VIP members will claim their seats on May 1st and have one week to do so, Basic Members can begin claiming their seats on May 10th. Tickets will open to the public on June 1st. If you have never attended our recitals before- They SELL OUT. 


Do you offer Private Lessons?

Private Lessons are Offered to students who are looking to improve on an individual and personal level and lesson time can be used to improve technique, artistry, strength and conditioning or to learn a piece of choreography for a performance.  Private lessons are offered based upon studio and Instructor availability.  Enrollment is limited, and will be taken on a first come, first served basis.  


1 dancer: 30 mins: $35.00  45 mins: $50.00  60 mins: $60.00

Privates can be divided by 2 or 3 dancers.


How can I stay up to date on important information?

For Season 12 we will be sending out monthly newsletters via email and will have some printed in our office for pick up. Additionally, we will be using the remind app. You will be getting this information in your email for your dancer.
